BACKGROUND
Positioning Extrait de Parfum as a launch that redefined how audiences discover and connect.
When Kahf introduced its Extrait de Parfum series, the goal was not just to launch a new fragrance, but to shape a richer product experience. The brand wanted to elevate its presence, moving beyond accessibility to craft something more aspirational. This launch became an opportunity to reimagine how audiences discover and connect with Kahf on a deeper level.

CHALLENGE
Elevating customer experience through every touchpoint.
Moving into a more elevated positioning meant Kahf had to rethink not only how the brand was perceived, but also how it was experienced. Since each bottle was designed to connect directly to a microsite, the challenge was to make this tap-to-digital interaction feel elevated and naturally integrated into the customer experience.

NFC INTERGRATION
Building a site that’s easy to find and navigate.
Each bottle of Kahf Extrait de Parfum carried an embedded NFC tag, allowing users to unlock the microsite by tapping their phone on the fragrance. This frictionless integration made the digital experience feel like a natural extension of the product itself. Instead of relying on external promotions, the fragrance became the gateway to its own story, reinforcing the sense of exclusivity and innovation behind the launch.
USER EXPERIENCE
Design choices that make exploration feel distinctive, engaging, and flowing.
To achieve this, the microsite was designed to deliver an immersive and elevated feel, with each fragrance presented through its own visual theme and persona. Colors and imagery were carefully tuned to reflect the character of each scent, making the exploration feel distinctive and engaging.
As users scrolled, animations and layered visuals revealed each detail in motion, turning a simple product page into a fluid journey of discovery. These transitions were designed not just for aesthetics but to create a sense of continuity to guide users fluidly from one story to the next. The result was an experience that felt refined, sophisticated, and aligned with the elevated positioning of perfume.

FUNCTIONALITY
Connecting digital exploration with brand activation.
Within this journey, the microsite placed emphasis on fragrance narratives, with each scent introduced through its origin, persona, and vibe. By framing every variant as a character with its own mood and inspiration, the experience went beyond functional product details and encouraged users to discover the fragrance that felt most like them.
In addition, the microsite functioned as a campaign hub, enabling event registrations, waitlist sign-ups, and exclusive rewards. These activations bridged the digital and physical worlds, giving users a reason to not only connect with the brand story but also become part of a growing community around the new fragrance line.
