BACKGROUND

Establishing a digital home for Desa Kitsuné’s first Indonesian destination.

Originating from France, the Kitsuné brand expands to Indonesia with Desa Kitsuné, a “mini village” destination in Canggu that unites Desa Kitsuné, Ina Re, Café Kitsuné, and Maison Kitsuné under one serene space. Beyond being the umbrella brand, Desa Kitsuné also introduces its own signature offerings through the Pool Club and a series of curated events.

As a newcomer in Indonesia, they partnered with us to build a digital home that brings the entire Desa Kitsuné universe online, capturing its atmosphere while making it easier for guests to explore, discover events, and make reservations.

CHALLENGE

Creating harmony between four brands and one experience.

Desa Kitsuné brings together four distinct brands, each with its own story, style, and purpose. The challenge was to create a single website that represents all entities equally, while maintaining their unique identities under one cohesive look and feel.

At the same time, the website needed to serve as a clear entry point for visitors. It had to make it easy for people to discover upcoming events, book tickets, and make reservations. Balancing brand consistency and functionality was key to creating an experience that feels both unified and intuitive.

USER INTERFACE

Designing calm simplicity that lets the ambience speak.

We crafted the interface to feel calm and minimal, allowing the ambience and photography to take center stage. Simple layouts, balanced spacing, and subtle lines guide the eye while keeping the overall experience refined and inviting.

Our focus was to find balance, creating a system that unites Desa Kitsuné, Ina Re, Café Kitsuné, and Maison Kitsuné without losing their individual character. We used a consistent visual structure while adjusting tones, compositions, and photography to express the essence of each space.

By leaning on visual storytelling instead of heavy ornamentation, the website feels cohesive yet alive. It mirrors how visitors experience the village in real life, moving seamlessly from one space to another while still feeling part of the same world.

USER EXPERIENCE

Making every entry point feel natural, fluid, and easy to explore.

We approached the experience with the same sense of calm and flow that defines Desa Kitsuné. A subtle pre-loader sets the tone before guiding visitors into a smooth, scroll-based journey that mirrors the village’s relaxed rhythm.

Our goal was to make every interaction intuitive so users could easily discover events, request a table, or browse menus without unnecessary steps. Clear entry points and simple navigation help guests move naturally between discovery and reservation.

Every design and flow decision was guided by one principle: to make the digital experience feel as welcoming and fluid as walking through the village in person.
