A digital companion for the creative and design community in Bintaro.
Since 2018, Bintaro Design District (BDD) has been a lively hub, bringing together enthusiasts of culture, architecture, and innovation. Recognizing the evolving trends and changing habits, there was a need to reimagine how a festival celebrating physical objects could extend its charm into the digital realm.
We joined forces with BDD in 2019 to introduce a new app. This app aimed to effortlessly guide users through events, participants, and more, offering a comprehensive experience
of Bintaro Design District event.
Providing a seamless experience that feels intuitive and engaging.
The challenge lay in meeting the diverse needs of Bintaro Design District, providing accurate event information while ensuring a seamless user experience. As an annual event, there was a recurring task of revamping the app to align with BDD’s yearly theme, ensuring it stayed fresh and relevant.
Putting simplicity and crafting eye-catching design narrative.
Our approach has seamlessly transformed the app into more than just a digital tool—it has evolved into a companion for the thriving gathering in Bintaro. We also incorporated graphic elements that represented BDD’s theme each year.
To make it more interesting and fresh, we introduced a new feature in 2023 called the digital stamp check-in feature. This digital stamp feature allows users to have an online check-in where they collect digital stamps every time they visit the exhibitions. The new feature adds an interactive element to the user experience.
Simultaneously, we prioritized security enhancements—limiting logins to a single device—ensuring a safe and enjoyable digital space for users.
Exciting results at BDD 2023, as we achieved a 36.2% increase in conversion rate.
As the BDD 2023 event took place, our work led to exciting outcomes. We achieved a 36.2% increase in the conversion rate from app download to ticket purchase. The new digital stamp check-in feature this year also contributed to an extended average engagement time, boasting an 81.8% success rate, with 2,261 participants joining the digital journey.
Moreover, the BDD App experienced minimal drop-off, surpassing an 80% pass rate. These positive outcomes highlight the success of our joint efforts in delivering a meaningful and enjoyable digital experience for the Bintaro creative community.
